All classes and groups are offered to the public free of charge and rotate throughout the year. Registration is required for all who want to attend so give our office a call to register for a specific class or group.
Boundaries
Weekly Commitment
10 Weeks
Drawing from the book by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Boundaries offers biblically based insights on establishing healthy boundaries in all areas of life—whether with parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, or even yourself. Through engaging discussions and practical teaching, you’ll explore how boundaries affect your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Changes That Heal
Weekly Commitment

Dr. Henry Cloud's transformative book Changes That Heal comes to life in this class through a combination of insightful teaching and group discussions. This course uncovers the four foundational tasks of maturity: Bonding with others, separating with others (boundaries), distinguishing between good and bad in ourselves and others, and embracing independence in adulthood.

The Genesis Process
Weekly Commitment
9 Month Class
Explore the transformative power of The Genesis Process. Combining the latest brain research with biblical truths, this course creates an environment of acceptance and grace to help uncover and heal unconscious belief systems (lies) that negatively impact your behavior and relationships.
In this class, you will:​

Healing the Child Within
Weekly Commitment
12 Weeks

Based on Charles Whitfield’s Healing the Child Within, this class will guide you in understanding how your past effects your present. In reconnecting with your inner child, you'll learn how to let go of harmful behaviors and thought patterns, making more room to handle yourself with grace and compassion.
In this class, you will:

Nonviolent Communication
One Day Workshop
9am-4pm
Designed to help you cultivate empathy and understanding in your interactions, this workshop based on Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication will guide you through the essential components of effective communication: observation without judgment, expressing feelings and needs honestly, and making requests clearly.
In this class, you will:

Learn how to communicate with empathy and compassion

Discover techniques for resolving conflicts peacefully and constructively

Grief Group
Weekly Commitment
8 Weeks
This support group is for those who have experienced a loss; such as the death of a loved one, the loss of intimacy to dementia, or a recent terminal diagnosis. This guided program gives mourners the space to process and find support in a community rooted in compassion and love.
In this group, you can expect to find:

A safe, nonjudgmental environment and encouragement to explore grief at your own pace

Guided discussions to help you process and navigate your grief

Connection with others who have experienced similar losses

Tools and resources to help you manage your grief and find meaning in the process
Personal Ministry Training (Level 1)
Weekly Commitment
8 Months (October - May)
Become a Good Samaritan and learn how to tend to the brokenhearted as you study the model of Jesus Christ as Counselor. This course is for those who want to grow in their relationship with God, improve their personal relationships, and develop the practical tools to minister to others. Personal Ministry Training explores the foundational topics needed to prepare students for Christian counseling. This academic year of study is the first year of our Counselor Training Program, or it can be taken as a standalone class to prepare students for Christian ministry.
In this class, you will:

Study how Jesus tended to the lost and wounded in the role of Counselor and develop the basic skills to facilitate healing through compassion, empathy, and partnership with the Holy Spirit

Explore the fundamentals of relationships, identity, and spiritual development

Learn what it means to be deeply loved by Jesus and embrace the Life of the Beloved

Learn the importance of self-care and how to avoid burnout in any ministry role
